CMSRN of Distinction

The CMSRN of Distinction Award recognizes a Certified Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (CMSRN) who exemplifies the mission, vision and core values of MSNCB. It acknowledges a CMSRN who is dedicated to promoting and communicating the value of certification by providing education and support to peers, healthcare organizations, patients and/or the community.

PRISM Award

Is your unit exemplary? It takes a dynamic, energetic, and committed group of professionals working as a team to achieve and sustain outstanding patient outcomes and high staff satisfaction.

The Premier Recognition In the Specialty of Med-Surg (PRISM) Award recognizes excellence in medical-surgical units. The PRISM Award is co-sponsored by MSNCB and the Academy of Medical-Surgical Nurses (AMSN).

Through this distinguished honor, MSNCB and AMSN celebrate medical-surgical units that achieve sustained excellence through exhibiting:

CMSRN Certification Grant

Are you ready to become CMSRN certified but can't cover the exam fee right now? Then you may be interested in the CMSRN Certification Grant!

The CMSRN Certification Grant is provided by the Academy of Medical-Surgical Nursing (AMSN). You must have been a member of AMSN for at least one year to be eligible. The grant applications are open year-round until twelve grants have been awarded for the calendar year.

Do you want to maintain your CMSRN certification but can't cover the recertification fee right now? Then you may be interested in the CMSRN Recertification Grant!
