Welcome, Nursing Students!

AMSN offers a free virtual student membership to allow students the opportunity to dive into the nursing profession outside of the classroom. AMSN knows you want to feel completely prepared for your future nursing career, so we offer a student membership with all the membership benefits, all delivered digitally.

Becoming a student member means becoming a part of a community.

Students can utilize their membership to network with other nursing students and working nurses.

The AMSN Annual Convention is open to students at the discounted member rate and is a great way to learn alongside nurses. Annual Convention, online webinars, and the online community allow students to bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-life nursing situations. Students can get more involved in policy and advocacy through the Legislative Action Center. Students will see policy and legislation that affects both them and their patients.

Additionally, AMSN student members can benefit from the AMSN podcast, Med-Surg Moments, which covers hot topics like violence in the workplace, care coordination, and the future of nursing. Med-Surg Moments features different guests from all over the nursing industry.
