Live/Virtual CRC
Live/Virtual CRC is an immersive two-day course led by a Subject Matter Expert. This course takes a deep dive into patient symptoms and diseases, along with the corresponding assessments and interventions completed by med-surg nurses. This program is classroom-style learning with an in-person CMSRN certification expert.

Lesson 1- Introduction & Testing Strategies
This lesson reviews the Certified Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (CMSRN) Certification Exam, including a review of the exam blueprint, topics expected to be covered, and topics not covered on the exam.

Lesson 2-Fluids & Electrolytes
This lesson reviews:
- Function of water and electrolytes in the body
- Assessments of normal and abnormal presentations
- The use of IV fluids and how they act within the body
- The importance of nursing care in the perioperative time period
Lesson 3- Gastrointestinal System, Enteral and Parenteral Nutrition
This lesson reviews:
- Common gastrointestinal (GI) issues
- Nursing care of patients with common GI diseases and symptoms
